Sewing project
This project is amazing, and truly a life changing Journey for the people involved and for Somaliweyn.
We did a community research in Galmudug region, Particularly a city where the population is estimated to 50- 70 thousands . Majority of the people we survey have express the need for sewing skill. Since the need was overwhelmed we decided to select 10 participants at a time for the project. This project runs once every three month.

ONCE THE PARTICIPANTS COMPLETE THE TRAINING FOR THE SEWING PROJECT THEY DISPLAY WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED THROUGH THE THREE MONTHS PERIOD.

SECOND STAGE OF SEWING PROJECT, AT THIS PHASE STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO MASTER THE SEWING MACHINE, AND ARE LEARNING TO CREATE THEIR OWN PIECE OF MATERIAL AS YOU CAN SEE VIDEO.

Students are on the second phase of sewing class. At this phase students are able to master the sewing machine. Students are also able to master to create their own piece . As we seeing prior this is an exciting stage for all students because they put what they have learned into test.
